Stadshotellet is located right at the centre of the city, and our address is Kanalesplanaden 13. The hotel has a parking space at the north end of the pedestrian street next to Tekniska Verket at Kanalesplanaden 9.
By car:
SOUTH: Turn right from highway 8 towards Jakobstad at the Bennäs-junktion, and drive for another 9 km to reach Jakobstad. Entering town you will find Matkahuolto's and VR's offices on your right. At VR's office, turn left to Stationsgatan, drive for another 300 meters and turn right in the first intersection to Choraeusgatan. The first road after the intersection, but before the traffic circle is Kanalesplanaden. You will see our hotel on your left by the pedestrian area and our parking space on your right hand side.
NORTH: Turn towards Jakobstad at the Edsevö-junktion from highway 8. Turn right at the junction, and keep driving towards Jakobstad for about 10 km. After passing the supermarkets and crossing the railroad, take a slight left-turn to Victor Schaumansesplanaden and follow it until you reach a traffic circle. Take the third exit from the traffic circle, and after 30 m you will see the pedestrian street on your right and the parking space on your left.
By bus:
Our hotel is located at the very centre of town, so we unfortunately don't have our own bus-parking. The passengers can be dropped off to the pedestrian street by Runebergsgatan in front of our main door. We recommend that the busses will be left by either Runebergsgatan or the north end of Kanalesplanaden.
